Consortium No. 7 of Aragon, the Calanda City Council, and the Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Region visit the CEET
On April 29, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming representativas of Consortium No. 7 of Aragon, the Calanda City Council, and the President of the Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Region to the Therrnowaste Assembly and Testing Center (CEET). They were able to learn firsthand about our urban salid waste sterilization and recovery technology.
During the event, the capabilities of our system to reduce the weight and volume of MSW and recovar a very high percentage of the materials contained therein were demonstrated, preventing many tons of waste from reaching landfills, generating greenhouse gas emissions (C02 and methane), thus contributing to the sustainability goals set by the European Union.
The visit was a very enriching opportunity to exchange experiences, analyze local waste management challenges, and explore possible avenues for collaboration to promete the circular economy in Aragon.
Thermowaste would like to thank you very much for your visit.
The Consortium No. 7 delegation was made up of Diego Aznar and Guadalupe Cazarla, and we were representad by Laura Martinez and Silvia Cobo from the Calanda City Council.
A special mention should be made of the visit by the President of the Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Region, Naiara Loras Minguillón, who does not appear in the photo because she had to leave us early to fulfill her multiple obligations.
This meeting is part of the ongoing collaboration to receive MSW at the CEET from the different regions that make up Consortium No. 7.
