Northern Waste visits CEET and strengthens Thermowaste’s international reach

On July 9, 2025, we received a visit from Northern Waste, a Malaysian company specializing in waste management solutions, interested in learning more about the sterilization and material recovery technology developed at our Thermowaste Assembly and Testing Center (CEET). We thank Northern Waste for their visit and their interest in our project.

Representing Northern Waste was Mrs. Lee Chin Thien, CEO of the company.
The Malaysian delegation accompanying Mrs. Lee included Víctor Yeow from AE Carbon, Jack Chen representing the lpoh City Governrnent, and Azriezal Bin Aziz from Selekta Spektra, the landfill operator for the city of lpoh.

During the visit, we presentad the potential of our modular system, capable of reducing the weight and volurne of municipal solid waste and recovering a very high percentage of rnaterials. We also discussed the application opportunities of Thermowaste technology in Southeast Asia, where sustainable waste management and the transition to a circular econorny represent major challenges and opportunities for innovation.

This meeting represents a further step in Therrnowaste’s internationalization strategy, consolidating alliances with strategic partners and opening new avenues for collaboration on projects with high environmental and social impact.

Malaysia is considerad the cornmercial gateway to East Asia due to its strategic location on the Strait of Malacca, a vital rnaritime route, its developed economy and industrial infrastructure, its role as an e-commerce hub, and its membership in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), along with Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, a region with great economic potential. Southeast Asia’s population exceeds 675 mi Ilion, of which ASEAN accounts for a significant portien, with more than 663 million
